Texas Hunter Education

Class Length 4-5 hours

The Hunter’s Education Field Day includes a presentation of ethical and responsibility training. It also includes a review of the regulations and the final exam (you must score 80% or higher). Upon passing both courses successfully you will receive a temporary Texas Hunter Education card. You may hunt legally with a valid Texas Hunter’s license.

If interested, please go online to complete the regulations found at tpwd.texas.gov/oa. Parents, you may help your children as needed if they are needing help with their test. After the completion of the course, please provide your instructor a printout of your online completion of the written online course prior to arriving to your lesson.
